The SON is Always There!
Have you ever enjoyed a nice sunny day, just for it to later be covered in the clouds and possibly some rain? It would almost make you think that the sun has vanished for the day. However, through the help of science and factual knowledge, we all know that the sun never leaves the sky.
Sometimes in life, you may have rainy days. You feel like we have no future, and all hope is gone. We can walk with our heads lowered in depression and sulk in despair. We can feel like nobody is there for you. However, scripture encourages us and let’s us know the Jesus, the Son of God, is always there for us.
• Hebrews 13:5 states that he will “never leave us nor forsake us.”
• Jesus mentions in John 14:6 that he is our “Comforter” and he will come to us.
With these scriptures in the word of God, we can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone in this world. Jesus is omnipresent and will always be by our side. Be encouraged!
If you are feeling like you are battling alone, remember that Jesus is Lord of all and he knows your trial. Jesus is the God of the valley and can empathize in your low times. Scripture speaks about how God bears our infirmities and how he can relate to us because he was robed in flesh, and was tempted as we are tempted. Hence, know and believe that your trials will not last forever. There is an expiration date to your trouble. With that said, here are some ways to remind yourself that God is always there:
1. Believe in His Word
a. Scripture states that the word of the Lord is forever settled in heaven! Choose to trust in the word of God when his presence seems afar off.
2. Fellowship
a. Through fellowship we gather various testimonies from other saints. This can strengthen our faith and reassure us that God does love us and that he is always there.
3. Choose to Trust Him
a. By developing an intimate relationship with the Lord, you can develop trust and build your confidence in the fact that God is all seeing and all knowing. He will NOT leave you comfortless and will not disappoint you.

In conclusion, God will always be there for you. Whether you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, or you are overwhelmed with life’s circumstances, trust in believe that God is with you and will take care of you. Prove Him now, and allow him to walk with you through the storms and the high moments of victory in your life!
